Learning Journey on Stakeholder Engagement
A group of about 40 staff from Energie Bedrijven Suriname (EBS) started a one-year action learning trajectory on stakeholder engagement in project management as part of the larger Caribbean Development Bank funded Suriname Power Project.
Over the coming months a blended learning programme with on line study modules and interactive virtual workshops will introduce a structured approach, tools and methods for stakeholder engagement in project management.
The project is implemented under the flag of the Wolverhampton University, Centre for International Development and Training.
The active learning approach in this so called ' learning journey' will make it possible to use best practices from the sector and tailor these to the EBS context.
Based on this initial training the staff will apply the tools and techniques in their daily practice and later in 2021 these experiences will be used to refine the stakeholder engagement framework and handbook.
