Webinar on knowledge management
Sharing knowledge in collaborative projects deserves more attention. Colleagues from Uganda, Kenya and the Netherlands shared their ideas this week in a webinar to make this concrete in the HIVOS / Oxfam Novib project on gender mainstreaming.
The results of a CPC baseline study on current knowledge sharing practices were used in an on-line workshop. The mutual distance, different organizational cultures and the development of new work processes and practices appear to be more difficult in practice than previously thought. Newly created networks via whatsapp groups then appear to offer a simple and workable solution.
