CDB training
The Caribbean Development Bank’s Public Policy Analysis and Management and Project Cycle Management (PPAM/PCM) is a public sector training initiative which launched in 2016. It is the largest in-person public sector training programme that CDB has ever carried out and is run by the Training Unit of the Bank’s Technical Cooperation Division and implemented by DOD and CIDT (University of Wolverhampton).
The PPAM/PCM training is to equip civil servants with the skills to allow them to effectively manage, monitor and implement public policies, programmes and projects. In Surinam the programme coincides with the installation of planning units in each ministry. The staff of these units took part in the training units on project cycle management, project implementation, Monitoring and evaluation and procurement.
